Shell Scheme Stand Regulations & Information

View Information in Dutch

A Shell Scheme stand is one that the Organiser’s contractor, RAI Amsterdam, will build on your behalf. This year we have chosen to use the Eco-Booth Shell Scheme in our efforts towards sustainability, please click here for more information on the Eco-Booth build and materials.

Shell Scheme stands will be ready for interior decoration and delivery of products at 1000hrs on Monday 10 March. They include:

  • Walls – Number will depend on the size of your stand and whether the stand has one, two or three sides open. This information can be found on your contract. If you would like to double check this, please contact Sophie Wood.
  • Carpet - Anthracite carpet will be included in your Shell Scheme stand, see visuals on the Shell Specifications linked below./
If you would like to change the colour of your carpet, there will be an additional cost for this. If you would like to provide your own floorcovering, please inform Sophie Wood. No refund will be given if you decide to supply your own floorcovering.
  • Fascia and Company Nameboard - Your company name will be displayed as that detailed on your contract. Your fascia colour will be Forest Green, see visuals on the Shell Specifications linked below.
  • Electrical Package as follows:
    • 2x LED spotlights
    • 1x 3kW daytime power incl. double wall socket

Please note, stands over 4m in width may require a ceiling beam or overhead support (which lighting can be attached to, please check it is within the weight loading), and/ or return panels for extra stability of the overhead fascia.

Deadline Date

Orders must be received by Monday 10 February for early bird prices. Orders received after 5th March will be charged at standard prices, which is a 20% increase.

NB: Exhibitors who contract into the show after the deadline will be exempt from the surcharge if orders are made prior to arriving onsite.

Enquiry Desk

During the build-up period, an enquiry desk will be located at the entrance to the hall to assist exhibitors with any electrical queries or problems. The desk will be manned from 0800-1800 hours daily.

Supply Timetable

Electricity will be energised to stands as quickly as possible during the build-up period, subject to satisfactory inspection and testing of installations.

Independent Hotel Show does not operate 24-hour power. If you require 24-hour power for your stand then this should be ordered directly with the RAI Webshop or by contacting exhibitorservices@rai.nl. All stand electrics will be switched off 15 minutes after the show closes each day.

Any exhibitor needing electricity for the running down of machinery or refrigeration equipment etc when the exhibition closes at 1700hrs on Wednesday 12 March must order extended power via the RAI Webshop or by contacting exhibitorservices@rai.nl. If this is required onsite, please inform the Organisers’ Office of their requirements no later than 1700hrs the day before, for this to be organised in time. Please note, there will be a charge for an extension of power.

Water Connection

If you are an Shell Scheme Exhibitor with an Eco Booth stand and require a water connection to your stand, please note that if the water pit/connection is not in your stand and rather needs to be brought in from behind your stand wall, there will be a cost to create a connection through the wall as it will require creating a hole in the wall for the connection. The cost for creating a water connection within the stand wall is € 210  euros

Please contact RAI Exhibitor Services directly or call +31 20 549 1928 to arrange this.
