Govert Janzen is currently active as representative for the Benelux member hoteliers of Romantik Hotels & Restaurants AG. Frankfurt based, the hospitality organisation with 160+ members is known for its advanced hotel marketing activities throughout Europe. Its team of fourteen specialist focuses with passion on online marketing services, with its strong loyalty programme, direct marketing and social media exposure. Member hoteliers operate four and five star hotels and are often family operators, many already for generations.

The vision of its CEO, Thomas Edelkamp, is to both manage and find room for growth of the portfolio in selected areas, where its database shows proven potential for additional properties. In the Benelux, a further ten to twelve regions and properties are scouted. Govert serves currently as board member of Romantik. A former hotel entrepreneur, known most recently as developer/owner of Hotel Mondragon (2019), after having successfully managed Badhotel Domburg (2017). Govert is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague (1988).
