Tim Schalke
Tim Schalke is co-founder of The Lodging Company, a Dutch hospitality consultancy and hotel management firm he founded together with Benjamin Koch, both proud alumni of Hotelschool The Hague. Over the years, Tim has built up serious expertise in hotel operations, quality, technology and innovation. His hands-on experience spans projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, though colleagues would say he sometimes takes the "hands-on" part a little too literally. Together with his business partner, he owns a portfolio of hotels and restaurants across the Netherlands. These days, Tim spends a lot of his time figuring out how AI and new technologies can make hotel operations smarter and more efficient and actually having fun doing it. And then Checkmate Assistant was born.
