As the first major cleaning company, Beercoo switched to Bio-based for all its garbage bags since the beginning of 2022. These are polyethylene (PE) garbage bags made of 85% green PE (based on sugar cane) and only 15% PE. By using Bio-based garbage bags, we are no longer responsible for CO2 emissions, but intake of CO2. With this Beercoo saves 112,000 kg of CO2 per year, equivalent to 33 passenger cars per year.
