Laurens Jasperse
Food consultant and chef Laurens Jasperse grew up surrounded by food. His earliest memories are family moments where food was at the forefront. In the Jasperse household, instead of watching TV, because there wasn’t one, the three brothers helped their dad make fresh pasta in the kitchen or plucked chickens for dinner.
Today, he combines his education in visual arts and passion for travelling to inspire his creations at the hospitality-concept, YUST. Based in Antwerp and Liège, YUST combines short and long-term stays with a modern, casual dining restaurant and an array of events under one roof.
Driven by creativity, different cuisines and local fresh produce, Laurens’ seasonal menus are rarely the same. Making YUST a must-visit for both local and international foodies.
