Diversity and inclusion is still a ‘numbers game’ but for Natalia it’s about people’s life and should focus on individual and group journeys to overcome biases and convincedly and proudly not only embrace diversity but also facilitate a seamless inclusion.
One of her most important and difficult lessons was ‘not to prejudge’. This is still a work in progress, as becoming aware of what you are not, presents a real challenge.
As Hotel General Manager or as Head of Department, one of her main goals was to look for and unlock potential in people and encourage them and others to see their potential, whatever their background. Thankfully this did work on occasions.
Founding TRIBE NL has been part of her people journey and love for the hospitality industry, of her strong believe in the benefits of diversity and inclusion, with the goal of creating opportunities and guiding people from different cultures and backgrounds in a new adventure, away from their mother land, family, and friends.
TRIBE NL is still on her startup phase, but the ‘TRIBE’ is already here to stay, a community where helping each other navigate life within a new culture and succeed in our journeys is part of our DNA.
