At Independent Hotel Show accessibility is important — helping to provide an enjoyable event for everyone. 

Wheelchair access

RAI Amsterdam have special parking spaces located close to the exit of the building which can be used by members who have an official European parking card (GPK).  

Visitors with a GPK can report to the lodge employees of the P7 parking garage for quick and easy access to a good parking space. Follow the route P RAI 7, from there a team member from RAI Amsterdam can refer you to the best parking spaces. Please note that it is not possible to book a disabled parking space and therefore, will be on a first-come first-served basis.  

Parking at RAI Amsterdam costs €5.50 per hour (maximum of €33.00 per day or buying a day ticket online for €26.00) 

Lift access

There are lifts available around the venue. Please contact eventservices@rai.nl for more information.  

Venue access 

If you are travelling by train, the RAI railway station is 300 metres from the RAI. There are signs to direct you to the RAI Amsterdam when you leave the station.  

If you are travelling by tram, tram 4 runs between the city centre and the RAI (stop at Europaplein).  

If you are traveling by metro, metro 52 will take you from Amsterdam central station or station Zuid to RAI Amsterdam. Metro 50 runs between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Gein and stops at Station Amsterdam RAI. From station Amstel, take metro 51, bus61 (stop Europaplein) or bus 65 (stop Scheldeplein).  

Travelling by car, RAI Amsterdam is located along-side the ring road (A10) Exit 9. there are signs to direct you to the car parks from here.  

Wheelchair hire at RAI Amsterdam

RAI Amsterdam can provide wheelchairs on request to those in need, in receipt of a refundable security deposit. Wheelchairs should be booked in advance by submitting an enquiry to eventservices@rai.nl. Please provide RAI Amsterdam with the following information: 

  • Name  

  • Phone number 

  • Pick up date 

  • Name of event 

Assistance Animals 

RAI Amsterdam welcomes personal support animals at the venue. Please note that all owners will be fully responsible for the actions of their animals and damaged caused can be charged to the owner.

Toilets

RAI Amsterdam has accessible toilets.

Catering Outlets

RAI Amsterdam has a wide range of cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the hall throughout the RAI complex. In Hall 5 there are 2 catering outlets; La Place and Daily Italy.
